POPFASD Update - February 2010
Our incredibly warm winter weather here in Prince George continued in February. We managed to get where we needed to be with very few delays and problems. Here are some highlights from February:
- provided a presentation in Queen Charlotte City, Haida Gwaii
- presented a full day workshop in Kelowna for 60+ participants
- spent a full day with school teams in Kelowna leading experimental training in LEIC 2
- presented a full day session for school teams from 6 schools in Ashcroft
- updated the website with the completed brain activity, apple activity, PC Wheel and revised LEIC forms
- continued work on Nathan Ory modules and behaviour/communication modules
- conducted three online training sessions using Elluminate
- collected and compiled feedback from Elluminate sessions
- planned and prepared an additional Elluminate session for March
- reviewed our program goals
- submitted 2010 -2011 budget
- reviewed and discussed MediaFX contract for 2010-2011
- continued revisions of case study for “Multi-disciplinary assessment process”
- continued revisions of case study for “Transitioning Susie”
- conducted intensive research into possible Education/Training project
- prepared a written summary of research on performance-based schools
- prepared for our March 31 POPFASD Steering Committee meeting
- worked with the Integrated Case Management Community Committee including two meetings and revisions for handouts and powerpoint
- continued work on LEIC 2 form and wheel
- continued to work closely with various ministries and community groups
