POPFASD Update - February 2011
Our seemingly endless cold winter weather here in Prince George continued in February. We mostly managed to get where we needed to be with a few delays and problems. Here are some highlights from February:
- prepared, delivered and completed follow-up for presentations in Vancouver, Terrace and Chilliwack
- completed follow-up for presentations in Kativik and Richmond
- continued to revise the SOA LEIC and SOA Wheel
- attended the 4 day FASD International Conference in Vancouver
- updated the website with new information and updated forms
- completed observation module and posted to website
- continued work on Kim Bartell modules and social skills modules
- conducted 4 of the 6 sessions using Elluminate for our online training course pilot
- revised module 1.5 Secondary Disabilities
- continued to research and plan the online course part 2
- conducted 2 "Elluminate 101" courses
- updated our related sites (twitter, facebook, youtube)
- collected and compiled feedback from Elluminate sessions
- planned and prepared an additional Elluminate sessions for April
- reviewed our program goals
- updated budget
- completed Classroom Environment brochures
- prepared for our April POPFASD Steering Committee meeting
- continued to work closely with various ministries and community groups
