In the fall of 2017, Gerry Chidiac challenged himself to adapt his Social Justice 12 curriculum in order to meaningfully include a student with special needs in this highly academic course. He was supported by a Resource Teacher, Kelsie Pickens.

Raven, a 17 year-old student with FASD who is caring and empathetic, and who reads and writes at an early primary level, enrolled in Gerry’s class.
